Non-profit partnership National Urban Planners' Guild

The idea to create a professional union of urban planners appeared in February 2008 in Omsk (Russia) within the frameworks of All-Russia Scientific and Practical Seminar for urban planners. The adoption of Omskaya declaration is the result of the seminar. The document underlined the aim to create and develop a self- regulating organization (SRO) that consolidates Russian scientific, project and consulting organizations that deal with urban and spatial planning and urban development and other strategic tasks.
